Creativity In Action: Time Lapse Painting

Yes it's true, we love time lapse photography. We love watching the process of how things come together. It's really great to see it with a painting though because you can see how the artist's ideas change over time. They keep their CREATIVITY engine running at all times, taking the painting further. It's pretty exciting to see what new ideas they come up with along the way.

Every Letter Of The Alphabet In One Sentence

A pangram sentence is precisely that: one that contains every letter in the alphabet. The most well known is probably "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." but how many more can you learn?

It must be kind of neat to be known as the inventor of a sentence.  It's a bit different than be a "writer".  Nevin Nollop is the inventor of the most well known panagram.

2011: What An Amazing Year!

This year we're going to experience four unusual dates: 1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11, 11/11/11. On top of that, this year, July has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays. This happens once every 823 years.

And here's a neat trick that will work for everyone: Take the last two digits of the year in which you were born - now add the age you will be this year. The results will be 111 for everyone in whole world if you're born in the "1900's". If you were born in the "2000's" then the number is only 11, i.e. 2000 + 11 years old.

The First Pixar Short

Hope The Younger and I believe we have seen all the Miyazaki films now, including Animal Treasure Island, Lupin The 3rd, and Pom Poko. Our UrgeToComplete is turning us to Pixar, and luckily Anne Thompson tipped us to this the other week. "The Adventures Of Andre And Wally B" was the first Pixar short, way back when Pixar was a division of Lucas Film. Now the question is, have we seen every Pixar film? Once we check these boxes, we might as well move on to TheEntireHistoryOfFilmEVER!
