Some folks say that projection mapping is so yesterday, but it blows my mind every time I see it done.
Is projection mapping the greatest thing since sliced bread? How can there be film festivals these days that do not feature this? It is too cool. Thanks to Emily Johnson for the tip!

Okay, so yes, this is a commercial for Android, but it pretty darn amazing. I saw another projection mapping project about a year ago in NYC as part of the Vimeo Awards at the IAC center, and was blown away by that too.
Imagine a "festival" where a city had a multiple of these set up, all with a bit of an interlocking story to them. If I was opening a building, a museum show, or having some sort of city-wide event, I would want to have something like this as part of it.
