Indie Summer: SFFS-Supported Films in Bay Area Theaters

Is it time to decree "Indie Summer" already? With five upcoming theatrical releases of SFFS-supported films, we think so!  This year's crop includes 2013 Outfest Grand Jury Prize Winner Test and 2014 Sundance premieres Obvious Child, Ping Pong SummerHellion, and Love Is Strange. Many Bay Area folks have gotten some spectacular pre-release screenings of Hellion, Obvious Child, and Ping Pong Summer at this year's SFIFF and Test at last year's Frameline (returning June 19-29).  Lets celebrate these shining examples of New Cinema, independent low-budget, local filmmakers and festivals with power of our attendance and recommendation.

Four of these films received SFFS / KRF Filmmaking grants (reopening June 30!) and all were supported through various services by Filmmaker360.  Find trailers and release dates below!
