The SF International Film Festival has a long-running record of once-only-ever Live & Onstage programs of archival films with original compositions. So you can understand our cinephile elation that we have not just a clip but a live film event in it's entirety! Now available to watch is Harry Smith's experimental film Heaven and Earth Magic  with an original score composed and performed live by avant-pop band Deerhoof, presented at SFIFF49, April 27, 2006!  Deerhoof's John Dietrich provides an anecdote, featured on its Vimeo upload, that the band has never performed this again and it was guitarist Chris Cohen's second to last show in the band.  Enjoy!
