For over 25 years, photographer Pamela Gentile has been shooting intimate portraits of cinema's most important visionaries and talent at the San Francisco International Film Festival.  Shot simply and candidly, often in a makeshift backstage studio, her photographs form an extraordinary historical record of enduring images of nearly every influential figure in world cinema.  Capturing the atmosphere and energy of San Francisco's premiere festival, her work completes a visual narrative establishing one of the most extensive archives of a film festival chronicled by a single photographer.
